Helping Kids Reach a New Stage!

The Strand Theater Youth Workshop is an exciting summer arts program where all young people interested in the ARTS are welcomed.  Our staff of arts educators includes professional/accredited teachers, experienced actors/directors and professional Theater staff.  Students will become acquainted with a professional theater and study essential musical theater skills including ensemble acting, singing and dance.  The workshop will culminate with a showcase performance for parents where certificates of completion are awarded. 

 This exciting Workshop is designed to encourage confidence and release creativity, while learning to listen and communicate both on and off the stage.  Join us for a summer of new friendships, creativity, and FUN!  The fee includes a trip to NYC to see a Broadway show and an additional bonus week when Missoula Children’s Theatre Touring Company comes to town.  All children aged 6 to 13 may join the Missoula group free of charge.  The students will audition for a show that MCT will direct and will conclude the week with two performances on Saturday by the students that will take place on the Strand Theater’s main stage.
